Okay, so I’ve had this 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro for a while now, and I’m kinda clumsy. I’ve dropped it a couple of times, and let’s just say it’s seen better days. I knew I needed a case, like, yesterday. So, I started my quest to find the perfect one.
The Search Begins
First, I hit up the usual spots, you know, the big online retailers. I was overwhelmed! There were so many options: hard shells, soft sleeves, rugged ones, super slim ones… it was a mess.
Narrowing it Down
I knew I didn’t want anything too bulky. My MacBook is pretty sleek, and I didn’t want to ruin that. But, I also needed something that would actually protect it. So, I started filtering for hardshell cases, figuring those would offer the best protection without adding too much bulk.
- Consideration 1: Had to be hardshell.
- Consideration 2: Couldn’t be too thick.
- Consideration 3: Obviously, had to fit a 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro. (You’d be surprised how many don’t specify!)
Digging Deeper
I spent hours reading reviews. Seriously, hours. Some cases cracked easily, others didn’t fit right, some were slippery… It was tough to find one that seemed consistently good.
The Chosen One
Eventually after I had been searching and reading all kinds of reviews, I made a decision. I pulled the trigger and hoped for the best.
Putting it On
Putting the case on was easy. It just snapped right into place. I double-checked to make sure all the ports were accessible, and they were. Perfect!
The Result
It fits perfectly! It doesn’t add much weight, and it feels pretty sturdy. I haven’t dropped my MacBook since I got it (knock on wood), but I feel a lot better knowing it’s got some extra protection. All in all, I am super satisfied with this purchase and I think I did a great job for my clumsy self. Mission accomplished!
