Yesterday, I got a new phone. It’s a Pixel 2 XL. I had been wanting to buy it for a long time, but I was not sure if I should buy it or not. So I started to look up its price online.
First, I opened the browser on my old phone and typed “price of Pixel 2 XL” in the search bar. I got tons of results, which was a bit overwhelming. The prices were all over the place!
I spent a good chunk of time clicking through different websites. Some were selling it as “new,” others as “used,” and some as “refurbished.” It got confusing real quick. I realized I needed to narrow down my options.
- New: The price for a brand new one was way too high. It’s an older model, so it didn’t make sense to pay that much.
- Used: I was afraid of buying used products, I might got scammed.
- Refurbished: This seemed like a good middle ground. They usually come with some kind of warranty, and the price is lower than new.
After comparing prices and reading seller reviews, I decided to go with a refurbished one. I found one on a online store that had good reviews and a decent price. I paid around 200 dollars for it, which seemed reasonable for this model.
I placed the order and chose the expedited shipping because I was excited to get it.
Today, when I went to work, I noticed an email from the website, they said my order has been shipped. I was so happy about that!
When I got home, my phone has been arrived. I immediately opened the package.
The phone looked pretty good. There were a few minor scratches, but nothing major. I turned it on, and it worked perfectly! I spent the rest of the evening setting it up and transferring my data from my old phone.
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. I got a decent phone for a good price. It was a bit of a journey to find the right one, but it was worth it in the end.
My Advice
If you are thinking to get a refurbished phone, here’s what I did:
- Do your research: Compare prices from different sellers and read reviews.
- Check the warranty: Make sure the seller offers some kind of warranty in case something goes wrong.
- Be patient: It might take some time to find the right phone at the right price.
Good luck!
