Hey everyone, so I finally got my hands on the new iPhone 15 Pro. You know, the one with the fancy camera bump that everyone’s been talking about? Yeah, that one. Anyway, first thing I noticed is that this camera bump is seriously prone to scratches. Like, just setting it down on a table feels risky. So, I started thinking, I gotta protect this thing.
I hopped online, did some digging, and it looked like camera covers were the way to go. Seemed simple enough, right? Find a cover, slap it on, and boom, protected camera. But man, was I in for a surprise. It wasn’t as easy as I thought.
First, I ordered a pack of those tempered glass covers. They looked pretty sleek in the pictures, all shiny and stuff. When they arrived, I was all excited to put them on. Ripped open the package, followed the instructions, you know, the usual cleaning routine, aligning it perfectly… the whole shebang. But no matter what I did, those darn things just wouldn’t stick properly. There were always bubbles, or they’d be slightly off-center, driving my perfectionist side crazy.
After a few frustrating attempts, I gave up on those. Figured maybe I just got a bad batch. So, I went back online and ordered a different kind, this time some sort of plastic ones that were supposed to be “bubble-free.” Yeah, right. Same story. These were even worse, actually. They felt cheap, looked blurry, and messed with the picture quality. Totally defeated the purpose of having a nice camera if the cover makes everything look like a blurry mess.
I was starting to get really annoyed. I mean, it’s just a camera cover, how hard could it be? I even watched some videos online, thinking maybe I was doing something wrong. Nope. Turns out, a lot of people were having the same issues. It felt good to know I wasn’t alone in this struggle, but it didn’t solve my problem.
Third Time’s the Charm
Finally, I decided to try one last time. This time, I went for these individual lens covers, made of metal, that were specifically designed for the iPhone 15 Pro. They were a bit more expensive, but at this point, I was willing to try anything. And you know what? They actually worked!
- Installation was a breeze. Each cover just snapped onto the individual lenses, no adhesive mess or alignment issues.
- They fit perfectly. Like, they were made for this phone, obviously.
- The quality is solid. They feel durable, like they can actually protect the lenses.
- And most importantly, they don’t mess with the picture quality at all. Photos and videos still look sharp and clear.
So, yeah, after all that trial and error, I finally found a camera cover solution that works. It was a bit of a journey, but hey, at least now my iPhone 15 Pro’s camera is safe and sound. And I can finally stop worrying about scratching those precious lenses every time I put my phone down.
If you are also searching for an effective cover, I think you can just get the metal ones. They are really good. I am so happy now!
