Okay, so the other day, I decided to catch up on some shows I’d been meaning to watch on Paramount Plus. I’ve got a long flight coming up, and I figured downloading a bunch of episodes would be the perfect way to kill time. I started downloading, you know, picking out my favorites, and everything was going smoothly.
Then, BAM! I hit a wall. This message popped up: “download limit reached“. Seriously? I was like, “What the heck?” I mean, I knew there were probably some limits, but I didn’t think I was downloading that much.
So, I did what any normal person would do – I started poking around in the app. I went into the settings, looked for anything related to downloads, but no dice. There wasn’t any clear indication of how many downloads I had left, or what the actual limit was.
I was pretty frustrated at this. It is not user friendly, you know?
I went to check for the rules about download limits of paramount plus on the internet, and I finally found some information.
It turned out, you can only download 25 videos at a time. I guess I had gotten a little carried away with my download spree!
So, lesson learned. I had to go back and remove some of the downloads I’d already made. I picked the ones I was least excited about (sorry, random episodes of that show I’ve never seen!), and deleted them. I was just remove, remove, remove.
After, freeing up enough space, I was able to download the episodes I really wanted for my flight. It all worked out in the end, but it was definitely a bit of a hassle. It would have been way better if the app had just told me upfront, “Hey, you’re getting close to your limit!” instead of letting me hit that brick wall.
So, yeah, that’s my story about hitting the Paramount Plus download limit. If you’re planning a big download session, just keep that 25-video limit in mind. Don’t be like me and get all excited, only to be stopped in your tracks!
