So, I stumbled upon this thing called Notchnook the other day, and I thought, “Hey, might as well give it a shot.” It’s supposed to do something cool with your screen’s notch, or so I heard.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to get my hands on it. I had no any idea where to download, and finally, I got it installed. Thank god.
Playing Around
Once it was up and running, I started messing around with the settings. There are a few default, and it support customize options.
- There’s one that makes the notch area a solid color. Pretty basic, but it does blend in better with the menu bar.
- Another one adds a subtle shadow below the notch, kinda gives it a bit of depth.
- My current favorite puts a thin border around the notch, you konw, I think It looks pretty nice on my desktop.
My experience:
I downloaded and tried it out, and let me tell ya, It’s great!
I opened the app. Played around with the settings. Toggled it on and off a few times just to see how it looked. Choose customize options.
Finally, It is working! And my desktop looks great!
If you’re looking for a simple way to tweak the look of your screen’s notch, Notchnook is worth checking out. It’s not gonna blow your mind, but it’s a neat little utility that does what it says on the tin.
