Okay, so I saw a bunch of people online asking “will iPhone 15 case fit iPhone 13“. I got curious, and since I had both phones, I decided to give it a shot and see what happens.
My Experiment
First, I grabbed my old iPhone 13. It’s been through a lot, so I definitely keep it in a case. Then, I got a hold of a new iPhone 15 case – just a standard, clear one.
My initial thought was, “Maybe it’ll be a little off, but still kinda work?” Boy, was I wrong!
The Reality Check
- Camera Bump Issues: I tried to put the iPhone 13 into the iPhone 15 case, the first problem I observed was the camera bump. The iPhone 15’s camera area is bigger, so the 13’s camera didn’t sit right in the cutout. It was all wonky and raised up.
- Button Mismatches:Next,I noticed the buttons. The iPhone 15 case has cutouts in all the wrong spots for the iPhone 13’s buttons. They didn’t line up at all, making the buttons hard or impossible to press.
- Overall Size Difference:Even ignoring the camera and buttons, the iPhone 13 just felt loose in the iPhone 15 case. It wasn’t snug at all, and I could tell it would slide around and probably pop out easily.
It’s clearly a no-go.
Conclusion of the Test
So, after trying it out myself, I can confirm what I found: an iPhone 15 case will absolutely not fit an iPhone 13. The size difference and the design changes, especially that camera bump, make it totally *’t try to force it! You might end up damaging your phone or the case.
