Okay, here’s my take on a blog post about setting up a desk LED light bar, written in a casual, personal style:
So, I finally caved and got one of those LED light bars for my desk. My eyes have been killing me lately, staring at the screen all day, and I figured it was time to do something about it. I’d seen these things all over the internet, and everyone seemed to be raving about them.
First, I messed around to find the LED light bar. I wanted something simple, not too bulky, and with adjustable brightness. It also will better if it have different color temperature settings – you know, warm light for relaxing, cool light for focusing.
After I got, I ripped open the box. Inside, there was the light bar itself, a little clip-on base, and a USB cable. Pretty straightforward, no crazy assembly required, thank goodness.
Next, I clipped the base onto the top of my monitor. It fit pretty snugly, which was good. I didn’t want it wobbling around every time I bumped my desk. I fiddled with the angle of the light bar a bit, trying to get it to shine down on my keyboard and desk surface without glaring directly into my eyes.
Then, I plugged the USB cable into the back of my computer. I pressed button on the light bar. Boom! Instant light. It was way brighter than I expected, even on the lowest setting.
- I played around with the * are several brightness levels, I can make it super bright or really dim.
- I changed it to setting with different color temperatures,From cool white to a warm yellow.
I’ve been using it for a few days now,I moved, adjusted and changed it for several times. And my eyes feel a lot less strained at the end of the day. Plus, my desk looks kinda fancy now, all lit up like a spaceship control panel.
