Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “granny meet” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I figured I’d share my experience, you know, just in case anyone else is thinking about diving in.

Getting Started

First off, I signed up for the platform. I’d heard about it from a friend, and my curiosity was, well, piqued. The process was pretty straightforward, just your basic info, a little about yourself, and what you’re looking for.

Then came the fun part – browsing profiles. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through, checking out the different ladies. It’s kind of like window shopping, but, you know, for potential dates. I tried to read between the lines of their bios, get a feel for their personalities.

Making Contact

After a while, I found a few profiles that caught my eye. I decided to send out some messages. I kept it simple, nothing too fancy. Just a “Hey, how’s it going?” and maybe a little something specific about their profile to show I actually read it.

  • First message: “Hi [Name], saw you like [Hobby]. I’m into that too! How long have you been doing it?”
  • Second message: “Hey there! Your profile made me smile. What’s your favorite thing to do on a weekend?”

I’ll admit, I was a little nervous hitting that “send” button. It’s always a bit of a gamble, right? You never know if you’ll get a response.

The Waiting Game (and Some Success!)

And then… I waited. It’s the worst part, the not knowing. Some messages went unanswered, which is fine, it happens. But then, I got a few replies! It was a good feeling, that little spark of connection.

I started chatting with a couple of women. We talked about all sorts of things, our lives, our interests, just getting to know each other. Some conversations fizzled out, but one, in particular, kept going strong.

The Meet-Up

After a couple of weeks of chatting, we decided to meet up in person. We picked a casual coffee shop, nothing too formal. I was definitely nervous, but also excited. It’s one thing to chat online, but meeting face-to-face is a whole different ballgame.

The meet-up went well! We talked for hours, it felt comfortable and natural. There was definitely a connection there, something worth exploring further.

Where Things Stand Now

So, that’s where I’m at. We’ve had a couple more dates since then, and things are looking good. It’s still early days, but I’m optimistic. The whole “granny meet” experience has been surprisingly positive. It’s not something I ever thought I’d do, but I’m glad I gave it a shot.

It just have connection and chemistry, so, I think I will keep going for a while.
