Okay, so I stumbled upon this thing called “Pokemon Worlde,” and I was like, “What the heck is this?” Turns out, it’s a Wordle-like game, but, you know, with Pokemon! I’m a huge Pokemon fan from way back, so, naturally, I had to give it a shot.
First, I went searching for this “Pokemon Worlde”.It brought me to the game page. No sign-up, no fuss – just straight into the action. Nice!
Gameplay Time!
The game throws you a silhouette of a Pokemon, and you’ve got a limited number of guesses to figure out which one it is. It’s not just about knowing your Pokemon, though. There are clues!
- Generation: It tells you which generation the Pokemon is from. Super helpful if you’re, like, rusty on the newer ones (guilty!).
- Type(s): You get to see the Pokemon’s type(s) – Fire, Water, Grass, you get the drill.
- Height and Weight: They give you the height and weight, and after each guess, it shows you if you’re too high or too low, getting warmer or colder to the answer.
My first try? Total disaster. I went in all cocky, thinking I knew every Pokemon. I slapped down “Pikachu” because, duh, classic. Wrong! The silhouette was way off, and the clues told me I was in the wrong generation, wrong type, everything.
So, I started thinking strategically. I used the clues! I looked at the generation, considered the types, and tried to match the silhouette to Pokemon I could remember. It’s actually pretty challenging! You have to really use your Pokedex knowledge (or, ahem, do some quick Googling if you get stuck…no judgment).
After a few more (embarrassing) misses, I started to get the hang of it. I narrowed it down based on the shape, type, and generation. Finally, I got one! It was a, I won’t say it, but I was pumped!
I played a few more rounds, and it’s seriously addictive. It’s a fun little brain teaser, and it definitely tests your Pokemon knowledge in a new way. And, let’s be honest, it’s a great excuse to brush up on all those Pokemon you’ve forgotten about over the years.
In conclusion, if you used to be a die hard pokemon fan when you were a kid, it’s super fun and makes you think.
