Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this smart ring thing, specifically for checking out if it can spot atrial fibrillation, you know, that weird heart rhythm thing. I heard the Ultrahuman Ring Air can supposedly do it, and I was like, “No way, gotta try this.”
Getting Started
First, I got my hands on the Ultrahuman Ring Air. It’s the only smart ring I could find that claims to detect atrial fibrillation, so that narrowed down the choices pretty quick!
The Experiment
I wore the ring like you’re supposed to – all day, every day. I made sure it fit snugly, but not too tight, you know? It’s gotta be comfortable if you’re gonna wear it 24/7.
- Wore it during workouts.
- Wore it while sleeping.
- Wore it just chilling on the couch.
I just went about my normal life. The whole point was to see if this thing could pick up on anything unusual without me having to do anything special.
Checking the Data(From the app that used with the ring)
Every now and then, I checked out the app that goes with the ring, it has datas. It’s kinda cool to see all the data it collects, like your sleep patterns and activity levels. But I was mainly looking for anything that flagged atrial fibrillation.
The Result (so far)
Honestly, I haven’t had any alerts or anything saying I have atrial fibrillation. Which, you know, is a good thing! I’m thinking maybe I’m in the clear, or maybe the ring just hasn’t picked anything up yet. it is hard to say!
It’s still pretty early days, though. I’m gonna keep wearing it and see what happens. It’s kinda like having a little health monitor on my finger, which is pretty neat. Even if it doesn’t catch anything major, it’s still interesting to see all the data it tracks.
I just share my test exprience, that’s all, hope it can help you guys some how, I will keep my update!
