Okay, so I wanted to jazz up my Kindle reading experience a bit. I’d heard about this “Kindle Fab” thing and thought, “Why not?” I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but I like tinkering, so here’s how it went down.
First Steps – Finding Stuff
First, I poked around online to figure out what “Kindle Fab” even was. Turns out, It is not a specific product or project. So based on my understanding, I tried to make my kindle more fabulous. I really wanted a convenient stand.
Getting Down to Business – Making the stand
After a few wrong tries, I found a simple design for my kindle stand. I used some basic tools:
- Old cardboard box
- Scissors.
- A ruler and a pen
- Some colorful washi tape (because, why not?).
I measured my Kindle and then draw a simple stand shape on the cardboard, I cut out the pieces with the scissors.
Putting It All Together
Next, I used some glue to stick the pieces of cardboard together. I made some adjustment. I made a few test runs, folding it this way and that, until I found the perfect angle. Finally, It can stand!
The Final Touch
It worked! My Kindle was sitting pretty, and I could finally read hands-free, feeling a little bit fabulous. It is not a complicated project, I am not going to lie and it’s simple. But, hey, it works, and I made it myself. That’s pretty fab in my book!
