Alright, so the other day I stumbled upon this thing called “AI Song Extender” and thought, “Hey, let’s mess around with this!” I’m always up for trying new techy stuff, especially when it involves music.
Getting Started
First, I needed to find a song I wanted to extend. I picked one of my favorite chill-out tracks, something that I felt would be good to streach.
The Process
I found this tool, and the interface was pretty straightforward, which is great.
- Upload: First, I just uploaded the song, dragged and dropped the file right in. It’s a intuitive,I like it.
- Settings: Then, there were a few options. It will generate a new song,so,I can chose How long it extends, and so on. I just wanted to see what would happen, so I just left everything at the default settings.
- Waiting Game: Next, I hit the “Extend” button and waited. It took a bit, not gonna lie. I guess it depends on the length of the original song and the server load, but it wasn’t too bad. I just grabbed a cup of coffee and scrolled through some forums while it was processing.
The Result
Finally, it was done! I downloaded the extended version and gave it a listen. Honestly, it was pretty cool! It wasn’t just looping the same part over and over. The AI did a decent job of adding new elements and variations while keeping the original vibe of the song. It felt like a natural extension, not just a copy-paste job.
Final Thoughts
I mean, it’s not perfect. There were a few moments where the transitions felt a little abrupt, but overall, I was impressed. It’s a fun tool to play with, and I can see it being useful for creating background music or just getting a longer version of a song you really enjoy. For now, it is my new favorite tool.
I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with this. I’m curious to see how it handles different genres and what I can create by tweaking the settings. It’s another one of those “wow, AI is getting pretty crazy” moments!
