Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different headsets lately, trying to find a decent one for work calls and maybe some music while I’m coding. I heard some good things about BlueParrott headsets, so I decided to give them a shot. I grabbed a couple of different models to see what the fuss was about.
First, I unboxed everything. You know, the usual – headset, charging cable, maybe some extra ear cushions. Nothing fancy, pretty straightforward.
Testing the Fit and Comfort
- I put the first one on. It felt… okay. Kinda bulky, to be honest. I adjusted the headband a bit, swapped out the ear cushions, trying to get a good fit.
- I wore it for a couple of hours, just doing my usual work stuff. My ear started to feel a little sore, so I took it off for a break.
- Then I tried a different one. Seemed lighter, more comfortable right away. I wore that one for the rest of the afternoon, and it was much better.
Sound Check Time
Next up, the important part – how do they sound? I made a few test calls. My voice sounded pretty clear on the other end, according to my colleagues. Noise cancellation seemed to be working okay, too – they couldn’t hear the dog barking in the background.
Then, I played some music. The sound was… alright. Not amazing, not terrible. Definitely good enough for background tunes while I work, but I wouldn’t use them for serious music listening.
Battery Life and Other Stuff
I charged them both up overnight. The battery life seemed pretty good – I used one for a full workday without needing to recharge. Connecting them to my computer was easy, just a simple Bluetooth pairing. No problems there.
So, after using these BlueParrott headsets for a while, I’ve got a pretty good feel for them. They’re definitely built for calls, and they do that job well. Comfort can be a bit hit-or-miss, depending on the model and your ear shape. Sound quality for music is decent, but nothing special.
Overall, I think I am quite satisfied about the BlueParrott headsets. I am planning use it everyday.
