How many Blink cameras per module? Maximize your coverage easily!

Alright, folks, let’s dive into something I tackled recently – figuring out how many Blink cameras I could hook up to a single sync module. I’ve got a bunch of these little cameras around my place, and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overloading the system.

First thing I did was hit up the internet, you know, the usual Google search. I found some stuff, but honestly, a lot of it was just confusing marketing fluff. Not exactly what I needed.

My Experiment Begins

So, I decided to just get my hands dirty and start experimenting. I already had one sync module set up with a few cameras. I think I had like, four or five running at that point. No problem there.

Then, I started adding more. I grabbed a couple of extra cameras I had lying around and went through the setup process in the Blink app. It’s pretty straightforward, you just scan a QR code and follow the prompts. Six cameras, seven cameras… still all good.

I kept going, pushing it to see where the limit was. Eight, nine… still working like a charm. The app wasn’t throwing any errors, and all the cameras seemed to be connecting and recording just fine.

Hitting the Limit (Maybe?)

Finally, I added a tenth camera. And guess what? Still worked! I was starting to think there wasn’t even a limit, but I remember reading somewhere that there was one, officially that is.

I wanted to share my experience and get a solid answer. So there you have it, ten cameras on one sync module. No hiccups, no problems. I mean it works for me, but do not take my word for it, I might get a different result next time!
