Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to cut down on some bills, and one of the things that came up was our Fubo subscription. We really only watch it for certain sports, and it turns out, a few of my buddies are in the same boat. So, we thought, “Why not share an account?” Here’s how we went about it.
Figuring Out the Plan
First, I logged into my Fubo account and checked out the different plans. I needed to see which ones allowed for multiple streams at once. You know, so we wouldn’t all be fighting over who gets to watch the game.
- I found the “Family Share” option(I remembered).
- This plan allowed 3 devices to stream simultaneously.
Setting Up the Crew
Next, I got on a group chat with my * talked about how we wanted to split the cost and, more importantly, who would be in charge of the main account (that was me, since it was already my account!).
I sent them invites.I add each of them to my Fubo plan. It was pretty straightforward, just needed their email addresses.
The Ground Rules
We had a quick discussion about some ground rules. Stuff like:
- Don’t go changing the password! (Obvious, but you never know.)
- Try not to hog all the streams all the time.
- Be mindful of when others might want to watch.
Making It Work
Honestly, it’s been working out pretty well! We’ve saved some money, and everyone still gets to watch their games. Sometimes we even coordinate and watch together, virtually, of course.
It’s not perfect. Someone might accidentally kick someone else off if we’re all watching at the same time, but it’s usually not a big deal. We just text each other and figure it out.
So yeah, that’s how I shared my Fubo account. It’s a simple way to save a few bucks if you’ve got friends or family who are also into the same channels.
