Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get that Porsche Apple Watch face for a while, and today I finally did it. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, but it’s totally doable. Here’s how my little adventure went down:
Figuring Out the Starting Point
First, I had to get my hands on that My Porsche app. I have an Apple watch, so it needs to get paired with my iPhone to manage apps. I opened the App Store on my iPhone and typed “My Porsche” into the search bar. Found it, hit “Get”, and waited for it to download and install. Pretty standard stuff so far.
Getting the App and Watch Talking
After downloading and installing the “My Porsche” app, I opened the Watch app on my iPhone, to install the “My Porsche” to my Apple Watch. I tapped “My Watch” button on the bottem-left corner, I scrolled down, found “My Porsche” app, and tapped “install”.
Diving into the App
With everything installed, I launched the My Porsche app. I’m not gonna lie, the app is slick. I poked around a bit. You need a Porsche ID, which I did.
The Tricky Part
Then came the ‘fun’ part. Inside the My Porsche app, you gotta find the section about Apple Watch faces. It wasn’t super obvious, I must admit.I scrolled through several menues, and finally found it. There were a bunch of options, not just one face, which was cool. I picked the one I liked the most – classic, clean, very Porsche.
Success!
Finally, I selected the face and followed the prompts to set it up on my watch. It took a few seconds, and boom – there it was! My Apple Watch, now sporting a fancy Porsche face. I gotta say, it looks pretty sharp. Now I can feel a little bit closer to owning a Porsche, even if it’s just on my wrist.
