Okay, here’s my blog post about the RAM 2500 window screens, written in a casual, first-person style:
So, I’ve got this RAM 2500, a real beast, right? But the bugs around here in the summer? Forget about it. They’re relentless. I wanted to be able to crack the windows at night or when I’m parked up somewhere without getting swarmed by mosquitos and everything else.
I looked at some of the pre-made options, but honestly, they were either kinda flimsy or way too expensive. And some of them, ugh, the fit just looked off. I wanted something that was tough, fit perfectly, and didn’t cost a fortune.
So, I went the DIY route. Here is what i did:
- Measured Everything (Twice!): First, I grabbed my measuring tape and got the exact dimensions of the window openings. I mean, down to the eighth of an inch. Accuracy is super important here.I made a note of every detail.
- Picked Up the Materials: I needed some sturdy screen material, I went for this heavy-duty stuff that’s supposed to resist pet claws and * I wanted the most suitable material.
- Cut the Screens: I use my measurements to cut out the screen. The best thing is to leave a bit of extra.
- Installation:Then I put my cut screens into my car window,Check every detail! It fit very well!
It is not a diffcult thing, but I’m pretty happy with how they turned out.I can finally keep my windows down without insects getting in.
