Okay, so I finally caved and bought one of those robotic pool cleaners. I’d been putting it off, you know, thinking I could handle the whole skimming and scrubbing thing myself. But let’s be real, who has time for that? Plus, my back was starting to protest. So, I started looking, and I ended up getting the Wybot Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner.
Getting Started
First off, unboxing this thing was pretty straightforward. No crazy complicated setup. It came pretty much assembled, which was a huge relief. I just needed to charge it up.
Charging it Up
Charging was easy, Just plugged it in. It took about 6 hours to fully charge,.There is the indicator * it is fully charged. it will turn green.
Into the Pool!
Once it was charged, I just tossed it in the pool. Seriously, that’s it. No hoses, no cords, nothing to tangle with. I turned it on, and it just sunk to the bottom and started doing its thing.
Watching it Work
I have to admit, it was kind of mesmerizing watching this little robot zip around the bottom of my pool. It methodically covered every inch, sucking up leaves, dirt, and even some of that fine, annoying sand that always seems to * pool is a standard rectangular shape, about 15×30 feet, and it seemed to have no problem navigating the whole thing.
Cleaning the Filter
After a couple of hours, I pulled it out. This was the moment of truth. I opened up the filter basket, and wow! It was full of gunk. Leaves, twigs, dirt, you name it. The filter was super easy to clean, just hosed it off, and it was good to go. Way easier than dealing with those messy filter bags in my old cleaner.
The Verdict?
So far, I’m really impressed. My pool looks cleaner than it has in ages, and I didn’t have to lift a finger (well, except to turn it on). I’m going to keep using it and will report back if anything changes, but right now, I’m feeling pretty good about this purchase. If you’re on the fence about getting a robotic pool cleaner, especially a cordless one, I’d say go for it. This Wybot is making my pool life a whole lot easier.
