Nanit Superior Sleep Set: Get Better Baby Sleep Fast!

Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my little one to sleep better, and I stumbled upon this “Nanit Superior Sleep Set” thing. I figured, why not give it a shot? I was desperate, honestly.

First, I ordered the set online. It came with the Nanit Pro Camera, a Breathing Band, a Smart Sheet, and a travel stand. Seemed like a lot, but I was willing to try anything.

Setting Things Up

When the package arrived, I immediately unboxed everything. The camera felt pretty high-tech, all sleek and white. I followed the instructions (which were surprisingly clear!) and mounted the camera above the crib. It was easier than I expected, just a few screws and it was up.

Next, I downloaded the Nanit app on my phone. This is where all the magic happens, I guess. I paired the camera with the app – a little bit of Wi-Fi setup, but nothing too crazy.

Then came the Breathing Band. This little band goes around the baby’s chest and monitors their breathing. Honestly, it made me a little nervous at first, but it’s super soft and my baby didn’t seem to mind it at all. I put it on him, and it connected to the app automatically.

The Smart Sheet was interesting. It’s basically a fitted sheet with a special pattern that the camera uses to track the baby’s growth. I just put it on the mattress like a regular sheet.

Actually Using It

So, with everything set up, I started using it. The first night, I was glued to the app. It showed me a live video feed of my baby sleeping, plus his breathing rate. It was kind of amazing, and definitely reassuring.

  • The app also gives you a sleep summary in the morning. It tells you how long the baby slept, how many times they woke up, and even gives you a “sleep score.”
  • I started to notice patterns in my baby’s sleep, thanks to the app. I could see when he was most likely to wake up, and I could adjust his bedtime routine accordingly.
  • It took a few days to fully understand it.

Over the next few weeks, I really got the hang of it. I started relying on the Nanit’s insights to help me make small changes to my baby’s routine. We moved his bedtime a little earlier, and I started making sure the room was completely dark.

The Results?

Honestly, it’s been pretty good. My baby is definitely sleeping better than before. He’s still not sleeping through the night every night, but the wake-ups are less frequent, and he falls back asleep much faster. I feel like I have a better understanding of his sleep, and that’s made a huge difference for both of us. I’d say I feel pretty good about the purchase so far.
