So, I finally got around to getting a privacy screen protector for my iPhone 14 Plus. It’s been on my to-do list for, like, ever, and I’m so glad I finally did it. Here’s how the whole thing went down.
The Hunt
First, I started by browsing through online stores. I wasn’t really sure what brand to go for, so I spent a good chunk of time reading reviews. I wanted something that really worked, you know? Not one of those flimsy things that barely hide anything.
Making a Choice
After comparing a bunch of options, I settled on one that had pretty solid reviews and seemed like a good balance of price and quality. Nothing too fancy, but not the cheapest one either.
The Waiting Game
Then came the waiting. It took a few days to arrive, which felt like forever because I was so excited to finally have some privacy.
Unboxing and First Impressions
When it finally showed up, I ripped open the package. Inside, there was the screen protector (obviously!), a little cleaning cloth, and a dust remover sticker. The protector itself felt pretty sturdy.
The Application Process
Okay, this is where things got a little tricky. I cleaned my phone screen like a maniac with the provided cloth, making sure there wasn’t a single speck of dust.
Then, I carefully peeled off the backing of the protector and lined it up with my phone screen.I slowly lowered the protector onto my screen, pressing down from the center outwards to avoid air bubbles.
I still got a couple of tiny bubbles, but I managed to push most of them out with my finger. There were tiny bubbles, which were really annoying me.
The Result
Once it was on, I stepped back to admire my handiwork. And you know what? It looked great! When you looked at my phone straight on, everything was clear. But from the side? It was practically a black screen! Success!
Living with It
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it. It definitely gives me that extra bit of privacy when I’m using my phone in public. No more worrying about nosy people looking at my screen on the bus or train! I’m super satisfied with it!
