Okay, so I finally decided to get a Fitbit Charge 5. I’d heard good things, and I wanted to get a bit more serious about tracking my steps and sleep. But, uh, first things first, I had to figure out how to actually turn the darn thing on. It wasn’t as obvious as I thought it would be!
My Fitbit Charge 5 Journey: From Box to Wrist
So, picture this: I’m sitting at my kitchen table, Fitbit box in hand, feeling all excited. I ripped open the box, and I am searching for any button. Guess what, no any button!
I started by doing the most obvious thing: I looked for a power button. I mean, that’s how you turn on pretty much everything, right? I pressed and held on the side, on the back…nothing. Nada. Zilch.
- The “No Button” Panic: I started to think I got a dud. My brand new Fitbit, and I couldn’t even turn it on!
I am so confused that I quickly search on the website for help, I found out that to turn on my Fitbit, it’s super easy, that you don’t need a power button!
- Connect with charger: Find your Fitbit charging cable, then connect your Fitbit with it.
- Plug in: Find a power source, such as a computer or a adapter, then plug it in.
- Wait: Wait a moment, and the screen of your Fitbit will show, it means that the power is on.
- Done:Now your Fitbit is on, then you can start to set it up with your APP.
It worked! I felt a little silly, but hey, live and learn, right? Now my Fitbit is happily tracking my every move, and I’m (slowly) getting used to all the features. It’s pretty cool, once you get past that initial “how do I turn this thing on?” moment.
