Okay, so I wanted to make my Deco mesh network’s main unit blink blue. It’s not something you’d normally do, but I was messing around and figured it out. I thought, why not share the process?
First, I unplugged the main Deco unit. You know, the one that connects to your modem. Just pulled the power cord right out.
Then, I pressed and held the reset button. It’s that tiny little hole on the bottom. I used a paperclip to push it in and kept holding it.
What I Did
- Unplugged the main Deco.
- Held down the reset button with a paperclip.
- Plugged the power cord back in, all while still holding the reset button.
- Kept it held down for, it was 7 seconds.
While still holding the reset button, I plugged the power cord back in. The tricky part is to keep holding that reset button down.
After plugging it back in, and I continued to hold that reset button for about, I guesstimated, seven seconds. After that, the LED started blinking blue, as wanted.
Finally the LED starts to blinking blue. It will continue to blinking blue until the factory reset is complete.
That’s all, my pratical record finished.
