Man, Black Friday is always crazy, right? This year, I decided to finally snag a new pair of glasses. My old ones were, let’s just say, well-loved. Scratched lenses, bent frames…the whole nine yards. So, I started my mission.
Getting Ready
First, I scoured the internet for deals. Every glasses website, every online retailer – I checked them all. I was determined to find the best possible price. I even looked at some of those “compare prices” websites, you know, just to be extra sure.
The Hunt Begins
I narrowed down my choices to a few online stores that seemed to have good Black Friday promotions. I was looking for something stylish but not too crazy, and, most importantly, something that wouldn’t break the bank. I spent hours just browsing, adding things to my cart, then taking them out, second-guessing myself. Classic me!
The Virtual Try-On Struggle
Then came the virtual try-on part. Oh boy. That was an experience. Let me tell you, trying to figure out if glasses look good on you using a webcam is…challenging. I took a bunch of pictures, sent them to my friends for their opinions. I got all sorts of feedback: “Too big!”, “Too small!”, “Those look like your grandpa’s glasses!” It was helpful, but also a little overwhelming.
Decision Time
Finally, after what felt like forever, I made my decision. I found a pair that I thought looked pretty decent, and the price was right. I double-checked the prescription details, made sure I had all the right measurements, and then…I hit that “buy” button.
The Waiting Game
Now, the waiting game begins. I’m so excited to get my new glasses! Hopefully, they’ll arrive soon, and hopefully, they’ll look as good in person as they did online. I’ll definitely be updating you guys once they arrive!
Fingers crossed!
