Okay, so I wanted to mess around with words ending in “try” today. It started because I was just thinking about words, you know, like you do. And I got stuck on that “try” ending. Sounded kinda neat, so I figured, why not see what I could find?
The “Try” List
First, I just started brainstorming. You know, just whatever popped into my head. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen – yeah, I’m old school like that – and started jotting stuff down.

I got those at the top of my head, but I was sure that will be more, and thought I could find a better way.
So, I fired up my computer and hit up a dictionary website. I used the “words ending in” search and bam, there was the “try” selection.I typed that in, and wow, way more words than I thought!
I started scrolling through the list. Some were easy, some were… well, I had to look those up to even know what they meant! I copied all and pasted to a file, and that is my raw list.
Getting Organized
I’ve sorted the list to make more sense, the orignal file is a mess!
I mean, I could have just left it at the giant list, but that’s no fun. I wanted to actually use these words, maybe write something with *, I kept playing around.I even tried to make a silly sentence using a bunch of them. Didn’t really work, but it was fun to try!
Anyway, that’s my little “try” adventure for the day. Nothing earth-shattering, but it was a good way to kill some time and maybe learn a few new words along the way.
