Okay, so I saw this “put clothes on nyt” thing trending, and I was like, “What’s that all about?” I’m always up for a silly challenge, so I decided to give it a shot and document the whole thing.
The Hunt Begins
First, I opened up the New York Times website. I figured I’d start with the homepage, you know, see what’s cookin’. I scrolled through the headlines, trying to find something… I don’t know… naked? It was mostly just regular news, though – politics, world events, business stuff.
Getting Creative
Then, I remembered that some people might interpret photos differently than me. So I went to the photos section of the NYT. It was beautiful and moving, and I thought: “I might give it a try”. I saw some model in a fashion article and I thought it was perfect.
MSPaint My Old Friend
I took a screenshot of the model. Time to get down to business. I fired up my trusty old Microsoft Paint. None of that fancy Photoshop stuff for me – keeping it real, you know?
The Masterpiece Takes Shape
Now, the fun part. I started drawing some clothes on the model. I’m no artist, mind you, so it was pretty basic. I gave it a bright red T-shirt, because why not? I add some blue jeans. I struggled a little with the shape, and it looked more like a rectangle at first. I used the eraser tool a bunch – let me tell you. Finally, after much erasing, I had some decent-looking pants.
The shoes were next. Drawing shoes is hard! I just went with some simple black blobs. Good enough, right?
The Big Reveal
And there you have it! My “put clothes on nyt” creation. It’s not going to win any awards, but hey, I had a good laugh doing it. That’s the whole point, isn’t it? Just having some silly fun. And that I did have. Success!
