Alright, so today I’m gonna walk you through my experience with the PS4 Save Wizard. I know, I know, it sounds kinda shady, but hear me out.

First off, I was having a real tough time with a particular game. I sank hours into it, grinding away, but just couldn’t get past a certain point. My save file was basically a testament to my frustration. That’s when I started looking into save editors.

I did some digging, and the Save Wizard kept popping up. Seemed like the most popular option for PS4, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Disclaimer: I’m not endorsing cheating, okay? This was purely for personal use to get past a roadblock in a single-player game.

So, I bought the thing. It’s not exactly cheap, let me tell you. After purchasing, you gotta download their software and register it. The whole process was pretty straightforward, thankfully. No crazy hoops to jump through.

Next up, you gotta get your save file onto a USB drive. This part can be a little finicky. You need to format the drive correctly (FAT32 usually), and make sure your PS4 recognizes it. Then, copy the save data from your PS4 to the USB.

Once you’ve got the save file on your computer, you fire up the Save Wizard software. It’ll detect the save and show you a list of available “cheats” or modifications. This is where it gets interesting. The options vary depending on the game, but you can usually find things like max currency, unlimited health, unlock all items, that sort of thing.

I picked the options I wanted, applied the cheats, and then saved the modified file back onto the USB drive. Back to the PS4 I went, copied the edited save back onto my console, overwriting the old one. Fingers crossed!

And… boom! It worked. I loaded up the game, and there it was: all the resources I needed, the characters were maxed out, etc. It definitely made things easier. I was able to finally progress and actually enjoy the rest of the game without wanting to throw my controller through the TV.

Things to keep in mind:

  • It’s not compatible with every game. Check their list before buying to make sure it’ll work with what you want to use it for.
  • Be careful what you modify. Going overboard can break your game or make it boring.
  • It’s not gonna work for online multiplayer games. That’s just cheating, and you’ll probably get banned.

Overall, the Save Wizard did what it was supposed to do. It let me edit my save file and get past a frustrating point in a game. Would I recommend it? It depends. If you’re really stuck and just want to experience the rest of a single-player game, it might be worth considering. But remember to use it responsibly, alright?
