Okay, so today, I bumped into this phrase “champing at the bit,” and I was like, what the heck does that even mean? It sounded kinda old-timey and weird.
So, I did what any normal person would do – I looked it up. Turns out, it’s all about being super eager and impatient to get going on something. Like, you’re so ready that you can’t even wait another second. I find this meaning from the dictionary, it’s said “champ at the bit” is to “show impatience at restraint; be restless.”
Then I started digging deeper, there are many website showing this phrase is the clue from The New York Times Crossword. I thought maybe it’s interesting that try to find out what’s the answers of this clue.
I started to search it online. I found many websites about crossword clue, they all trying to give me the answer of this clue “Champing at the bit”.
