Okay, here is my sharing about how I installed the Spigen EZ Fit Screen Protector:
So, I just got this new phone, and the first thing I gotta do is slap a screen protector on it. I’m pretty clumsy, so this is a must. This time, I decided to try out the Spigen EZ Fit Screen Protector. Heard some good things about it, especially about how easy it is to put on, so I thought, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First, I got the package and opened it up. Inside, there’s the screen protector, obviously, and this plastic tray thing. This tray is supposed to help you align the protector perfectly on your phone screen. There’s also a little kit with a cleaning wipe, a microfiber cloth, and a dust removal sticker. I made sure I had everything laid out and ready to go.
Cleaning the Screen
Next, I used the cleaning wipe to clean my phone screen. Gotta make sure there’s no oil or fingerprints. Then, I took the microfiber cloth and wiped it down some more, making sure it was super clean. I took the dust removal sticker and dabbed it all over the screen. You don’t want any tiny dust particles messing up the installation.
Using the Alignment Tray
Now, for the interesting part. I placed my phone into the EZ Fit tray. It fit in there pretty snugly. The screen protector was already attached to the top part of the tray. There were some instructions on it with numbered steps. I peeled off the film labeled “1”, which was the back of the protector.
Applying the Protector
With the back film removed, I carefully flipped the top part of the tray over onto my phone. I pressed down firmly in the middle, just like the instructions said. Then, I used my finger to smooth it out, starting from the center and moving towards the edges. This made sure there were no bubbles trapped underneath. The tray aligned the protector perfectly. I didn’t have to adjust anything.
Finishing Up
After that, I peeled off the film labeled “2,” which was on the front of the protector. I lifted the phone out of the tray. I gave it a quick once-over to make sure there were no bubbles or dust specks. Looked pretty good!
- Wiped the screen one last time with the microfiber cloth.
- Checked all the edges to make sure they were sealed properly.
- Turned on my phone to see if everything looked okay.
It was honestly pretty straightforward. No hassle, no realigning, and no annoying bubbles. The Spigen EZ Fit tray did its job, I got a perfectly applied screen protector. It took me like, what, 5 minutes? Super easy. If you’re as bad at putting on screen protectors as I am, you might want to check this one out. It’s a lifesaver, seriously.
