Okay, so, I’ve been having this super annoying issue with the Spark Mail app on my iPhone lately. It’s been so slow, like, ridiculously slow. I’m not even kidding, it’s driving me nuts! It started a few weeks ago. I didn’t think too much about it.
I tried to open an email, and it took forever to load. I was just staring at a blank screen for what felt like an eternity. Finally, I gave up and closed the app. Then I thought, “Maybe it’s just a one-time thing,”. But nope, it kept happening. Every time I tried to open an email, or send one, or even just switch between folders, it was the same story. Super slow, super laggy.
First, I checked my Wi-Fi, you know, the usual stuff. My signal was strong, everything else was working fine. I even switched to a different Wi-Fi network, but that didn’t help either. It’s not my network, that’s for sure.
- Restart the app. I force-quit Spark and then opened it again. I hoped this could work.
- Reboot my iPhone. Still nothing.
- Re-install Spark. I thought maybe the app itself was the problem, so I deleted it and reinstalled it from the App Store. I even rebooted my phone after that, just to be sure.
But, guess what? It was still slow! I was pulling my hair out at this point. I couldn’t believe how frustrating this was. This app was updated to the newest version, I checked that already.
Then, I had another idea. “Maybe it’s my email account,” I thought. So, I removed my email account from Spark and then added it back again. It’s like giving it a fresh start, you know?
And you won’t believe it, but… it actually worked! After I re-added my account, Spark started working normally again. No more lag, no more waiting forever for emails to load. It was like a miracle!
So, if you’re ever having trouble with Spark Mail being super slow on your iPhone, try removing your email account and adding it back again. It might just do the trick!
I was so relieved to finally have a working email app again. I can’t tell you how much time I wasted dealing with this issue. But hey, at least I figured it out, and now I can share this tip with others.
Hope this helps someone out there. If you have other solutions, please share them with me!
