Okay, so, I’ve been having this issue where I can’t watch some videos online. It’s like, some websites are just blocked, you know? It’s super annoying, especially when I’m trying to watch something specific for work or even just for fun. So, I started looking into it, trying to figure out how to get around these blocks.
First, I tried just typing in the address of the video site directly. No luck. It was still blocked. Then, I remembered hearing about these things called “proxy” websites. I didn’t really know what they were, but I figured I’d give them a shot.
I started by searching for “free proxy sites” online. A whole bunch of options came up, which was kinda overwhelming. I picked a few that seemed okay and tested them out.
- I tried this one called “CroxyProxy.” It said it was free and reliable, and that it supports video sites, so that sounded promising.
- Then I found another one called “Mywebproxy” that claimed to give you “an unfiltered and safe internet connection.” Whatever that means.
- Another one I came across was “*.” It said it was anonymous and could unblock video sites, search engines, and social networks.
So, I went to the CroxyProxy website first. It was pretty straightforward. There was a box where you could type in the address of the website you wanted to visit. I typed in the address of the blocked video site, hit enter, and boom! It worked! I could watch the video! I was pretty stoked.
I also tried out *, just to see. It worked too! The video played without any issues. I didn’t really mess with Mywebproxy much, CroxyProxy and * seemed to do the job just fine.
It’s pretty cool that these proxy sites exist. It seems like they have servers all over the place, so you can get around these annoying blocks. I read somewhere that one of them has servers in like, 105 countries. That’s wild!
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is having trouble watching videos online. These proxy things seem to do the trick. Just search for them online, type in the address of the blocked site, and you should be good to go. At least, that’s how it worked for me!
