Is the Ring Grip Case Good for Protection? We Tested It Out!

Okay, so, I’ve been using this ring grip case for my phone for a while now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on whether it’s actually good for protection or not. I mean, that’s the main thing, right? You want your phone to be safe.

First off, I got this case because I’m clumsy as heck. I drop my phone like it’s my job. So I needed something that would actually protect it. And I saw these ring grip cases everywhere, they seemed pretty popular. So, I found one online, nothing fancy, just a basic one. It arrived a few days later, and the first thing I noticed was that it was kinda bulky. I mean, it’s got that ring thing on the back, so it does add some thickness.

  • It’s not super bulky though, just noticeable.

Anyway, I popped it on my phone, and it fit well, that was a relief. Then I started using the ring, and that was kinda cool. It made it easier to hold my phone one-handed, especially when taking selfies. It also worked pretty well as a stand, so I could watch videos without having to hold my phone the whole time. This became a big plus.

But here’s the real test: I dropped my phone. Not on purpose, obviously. It just slipped out of my hand one day. My heart stopped for a second. I picked it up, fully expecting to see a cracked screen, but it was totally fine! The case had a few scuffs, but my phone was perfectly safe. That was a win in my book.

I’ve dropped it a few more times since then (I told you, I’m clumsy), and so far, so good. The case is holding up pretty well, and my phone is still in one piece.

Here’s my summary:

  • The ring grip case has saved my phone from several drops.
  • It’s a bit bulky, but not too bad.
  • The ring is handy for holding the phone and using it as a stand.

So, yeah, based on my experience, I’d say the ring grip case is good for protection. It’s definitely saved my phone from some nasty falls. It’s not the most stylish case out there, but it gets the job done. And for someone like me who drops their phone a lot, that’s all that matters. It does the job, and it does it well. I’m gonna keep using it for sure.
