Will We Get Unlimited Prompts in macOS Sequoia ChatGPT?

Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole macOS Sequoia and ChatGPT thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Here’s how it all went down.

I started by just poking around online, trying to figure out if the new macOS, Sequoia, would have any cool new ChatGPT features. Specifically, I was curious about the prompt limits. You know, like, would we finally get unlimited prompts? That would be awesome, right?

So, I spent a good chunk of time on various forums and tech blogs. A lot of the buzzwords were about ChatGPT free being unlimited and easy to try, but the information was pretty generic. Stuff like, “ChatGPT helps you get answers,” and “It’s free to use,” which, yeah, we all know that by now. I even found some posts talking about task-specific prompt templates and a prompt library, but nothing concrete about macOS Sequoia.

Then I stumbled upon a random forum thread where someone was asking if ChatGPT 4 mobile had unlimited prompts. They claimed they’d used way more than 25 prompts on the app without the model changing. Glitch or not, that got me thinking. Maybe there’s a way to bypass limits or maybe they just weren’t enforcing them strictly on mobile.

I also saw some ads for “unlimited ChatGPT prompts,” but they all required logging in on a desktop, which wasn’t really what I was looking for. Seemed kind of fishy, to be honest.

My Experiment

This is where things got interesting. I decided to do a little experiment. I opened up ChatGPT on my old MacBook which I’d just upgraded to the macOS Sequoia, and I just started throwing prompts at it. All kinds of prompts. I used one of those so-called “pre-written prompt libraries” for marketing and business, just to see what would happen. I must have entered like 50 prompts, no joke.

  • First, I asked it to write me a short story about a cat who could fly.
  • Then, I had it generate some marketing copy for a fake product.
  • After that, I asked for help with some coding stuff.
  • I even tried some of those “task-specific prompt templates” I’d seen mentioned online.

And guess what? It just kept going! No warnings, no limits, nothing. It felt like I could just keep asking it questions forever. Now, I don’t know if this is a permanent feature or just some temporary thing because it’s a new OS. Maybe they haven’t implemented the limits yet. Or maybe, just maybe, they’ve actually made ChatGPT truly unlimited on macOS Sequoia.

I kept pushing it, and it kept delivering. It was actually pretty wild. I mean, I know it’s just a language model, but having that kind of unlimited access felt like a whole new level of interaction with AI. So there you have it. My deep dive into macOS Sequoia and ChatGPT prompts. It seems like we might actually have unlimited prompts, at least for now. I’ll definitely keep experimenting and see if anything changes. Who knows what other cool stuff I’ll find?
