Alright, so, I saw this “300 9” thing floating around, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I figured it had to be some kind of math puzzle or code. I’m not a genius or anything, but I like messing around with numbers, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I just stared at it. 300… 9. Nothing. My brain was totally blank. I tried adding them, subtracting, multiplying… Nope. Still nothing. I felt kind of dumb, to be honest.
Then, I thought, maybe it’s not about doing operations on the numbers. Maybe it’s about seeing something in the numbers themselves. I looked at 300. Two zeros. Okay… Looked at 9. Just a 9. Still nothing clicked.
I decided to write them down. Maybe writing them out would help me see something I was missing. I grabbed a scrap of paper and a pen.

I started doodling. I circled the zeros in 300. I drew a little square around the 9. I even drew a line connecting them, like some kind of weird map. Still, my mind was drawing a blank.
Then I got a little more…abstract. I started thinking “Well I will divide 300 by numbers to see where it gets me”.
I divided 300 by 1, got 300. Divided by 2, got 150. Divided by 3 got 100! Then kept going and going.
I divided 300 by 100, and got 3! Ok hold up, that seems important.
So I have the number 3.
Now I am looking at the other number, 9, and noticed 9 can be divided by 3! 9 divided by 3 is 3!.
My Solution!
So 300 divided by 100 is 3, and 9 divided by 3 is also 3! I thought, “Maybe that’s it?”.
So there you have it. My messy, not-very-elegant journey to figuring out “300 9”.It is not super exciting, but hey, I figured out something I could!
