Alright, so, picture this: I’ve got this regular old TV, nothing fancy, but it works just fine. But I wanted to get all these new smart features, you know? Like streaming and stuff. That’s when I decided to check out these Android TV boxes.
I started looking around, you know, just browsing and seeing what’s out there. Then, I found some information about Android TV boxes. I read that they are basically XBMC media players that support 720P and 1080P resolution. It sounded good!
So I got excited and began hunting for the best one. I was looking for something with a fast processor, maybe some smart home features, and definitely a good remote. I wanted the best bang for my buck, you know? And also, I was considering using a Raspberry Pi to do the job, I’ve used them before for other small projects, but I found that the one that I have is a BCM2836 SoC Raspberry Pi 2B, I know it’s not good enough. After checking online, I finally got a popular flagship product. Can’t say the brand here, but you can probably guess.
After I got my hands on it, I started exploring all the settings and stuff, checking which player I should use, I’ve heard about KMPlayer before, they say it is pretty good and supports all formats. So I went ahead and tried to install it.
After spending time setting up this player, I was so satisfied with the result. I could tweak so many things to make it work just right for me, it really elevated my media experience.
This was such a great decision. Now I can stream whatever I want on my TV, and it feels like a brand-new device. It’s pretty awesome how these little boxes can make such a big difference.
