Okay, so I’ve been messing around with headsets lately, specifically the Arctis Nova Pro and the Arctis Pro. I wanted to figure out which one was actually better, for me at least. So, I got my hands on both of them.
Getting Started
First, I unboxed both headsets. You know, the usual – ripping off the plastic, struggling with the tape, the whole deal. I laid them both out on my desk to get a good look.
First Impressions
- Arctis Nova Pro: Felt kinda fancy, you know? A bit more modern looking.
- Arctis Pro: This one felt solid, sturdy. Like it could take a beating (not that I plan on beating up my headsets).
Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3
I plugged them both in, one after the other. Started with some music. Cranked up the volume, switched back and forth. Played some games, you know, to hear those footsteps and explosions. Messed around with the EQ settings on both, trying to get them just right.
I spent a couple of days with, using each headset, swapping back and forth, back and forth.
The Verdict (For Me, Anyway)
Honestly both are pretty good. The sound on both is awesome and after a lots of going back and forth, I was able to find some difference at last.
I think the sound that Arctis Nova Pro gave me was a little bit better and I think I like Arctis Nova Pro better.
But hey, that’s just my two cents. Your ears might tell you something different!
