So, Christmas is coming, and my family is getting together. We always have a blast, but this year I wanted to do something a little different. I decided to find some fun games that we could all play together. I started out by just searching for “two player games” online, thinking that maybe we could pair up and have a little tournament or something. That led me to this site, it has a ton of games that you can play without even downloading anything.
I browsed around for a bit, checking out different games, but nothing really caught my eye. They were all fine, just not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that we could all play as a group, not just in pairs. So, I changed up my search a bit and tried looking for games that involve strategy or something like that.
I stumbled upon some classic strategy games. You know, the kind where you have to really think about your moves. I thought these could be fun, but maybe a little too intense for a casual Christmas gathering. I want everyone to have a good time, not get super competitive or anything like that. My family is not suitable for the intense game.
My Selections
- Charades: Okay, this one is a classic for a reason. It is always good for some laughs. I figured we could split into teams and act out different words or phrases. Maybe even make it Christmas-themed!
- Christmas Movie Bingo: We always watch a bunch of Christmas movies during the holidays, so I thought this could be a fun twist. I made up some bingo cards with common Christmas movie tropes, like “someone says ‘Merry Christmas'”, “Santa appears”, or “snowball fight”. First one to get bingo wins a prize.
- Two Truths and a Lie (Christmas Edition): This is a good icebreaker game. Each person has to come up with three “facts” about themselves, two are true, and one is a lie. Everyone else has to guess which one is the lie. I thought we could make it Christmas-themed by having the “facts” be about past Christmases or holiday traditions.
- Minute to Win It Games: These are always a hit. I found a bunch of silly challenges that you have to try to complete in under a minute. Things like stacking candy canes, unwrapping presents with oven mitts on, or tossing ornaments onto a mini Christmas tree. They’re simple, but surprisingly challenging and hilarious to watch.
I’m pretty excited about these games. I think they’ll be a lot of fun and a good way to get everyone involved. I even picked up a few small prizes to give out to the winners. Nothing fancy, just some candy or small Christmas-themed trinkets. We’ll see how it goes, but I’m hoping this will be a Christmas to remember!
Oh, I also printed out some instructions and rules for each game, just in case anyone is confused. I’m trying to keep things as organized as possible. Wish me luck! I hope my family enjoys the games I picked out.
