Okay, so I finally caved and got myself a new MacBook Pro 13-inch. Super stoked about it, but also immediately worried about scratching it. You know how it is with new tech – you want to keep it pristine forever!
So, the hunt for a case began. I wanted something that would actually protect my precious laptop, not just look pretty. I spent, like, a whole afternoon browsing online, comparing different brands and styles. It was a bit of a rabbit hole, to be honest.
I ended up going with an Incase sleeve. Here is why:
Why Incase?
- Protection! That was my number one priority. This thing has some serious padding, and the inside is, I guess, furry? So it won’t scratch the laptop.
- Snug Fit. It is snug and the MacBook does not swimming around inside.
- Simple Design. I’m not a flashy person, I put it into my bag. so I did not want anything too bulky.
The Shopping Spree
Actually, I bought three, a cheaper one and another similar style from Incase. The cheaper one was, you know, I am not going to use it.
And the other Incase one, I felt not as good as the one I finally decided to use.
Putting It On
It’s a sleeve, so this part’s pretty straightforward. You just…slide the MacBook in. The fit is really snug, which is reassuring. It doesn’t feel like the laptop is going to accidentally slip out.
Living With It
I’ve been using the Incase sleeve for a few weeks now, tossing my MacBook in my bag, carrying it around. No scratches, no dings, nothing. It’s doing its job perfectly.
Honestly, I’m super happy with it. It gives me peace of mind, I am so happy I found it, and saved me lots of money. If you’re also a bit paranoid about protecting your new MacBook, I’d definitely recommend checking out Incase.
