Okay, so I just got my iPhone 14 Plus, and you know the first thing – gotta protect that investment! So I went down a rabbit hole trying to find the best case. I wanted something that wouldn’t turn my sleek phone into a brick, but still offered decent protection.
First, I started by browsing online, checking out big sites and some smaller ones, just to get a feel for what’s out there. I saw tons of options: super thin ones, rugged ones, wallet cases, clear cases… it was overwhelming!
I narrowed it down by thinking about what I really needed. I’m not super clumsy, but I do drop my phone occasionally. So, good drop protection was a must. But I also didn’t want some giant, bulky thing. A good balance was key.
Then, I started digging into reviews. I looked at what other people were saying, watched some videos, and read some articles. It helped me weed out some of the cases that looked good but maybe weren’t so great in real life.
I focused on:
- Drop Protection: How many feet of drop protection did it claim? Did reviewers confirm this?
- Material: Was it TPU? Polycarbonate? Something else? What felt good in the hand?
- Grip: Did it look slippery? I wanted something that felt secure.
- Raised Edges: did the case protect the screen?
- Style: that is suitbale to me.
My Choice
I finally decided to take action to buy the case after I did deep research. And I feel pretty good to get the case, which has good protection and the style is very beautiful.
