Okay, so I’ve been rocking this iPhone 12 Pro Max for a while now, and I’m super paranoid about people looking at my screen. You know, on the bus, in line at the coffee shop – everywhere! So, I finally decided to get a privacy screen protector.
The Hunt Begins
First, I looked around online, you know, just to see what was out there. There are tons of options, different brands, different prices… it was a little overwhelming, to be honest.
Making a Choice
I ended up going with one that had pretty good reviews. It wasn’t the cheapest, but it wasn’t the most expensive either. Seemed like a good middle ground. I figured, better to spend a little more for something that actually works, right?
The Installation Process
When it arrived, I was a little nervous about putting it on. I’m not exactly known for my steady hands. I watched a couple of YouTube videos first, just to get an idea of what to do.
- I cleaned my phone screen like crazy. Seriously, I used the little wipe that came with it, then I used another one of my own. No dust allowed!
- Then, I carefully peeled off the backing of the protector.
- This was the tricky part: I lined it up with the top of my phone and slowly lowered it down. I used the little squeegee thing to push out any air bubbles.
The Result
It wasn’t perfect, I’ll admit. There’s a tiny, tiny bubble in one corner, but you can barely see it. The important thing is, it works! When I look at my phone straight on, everything is clear. But when I tilt it to the side, the screen goes dark. No more sneaky peeks!
Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It gives me a little extra peace of mind, and it wasn’t too difficult to install. If you’re thinking about getting a privacy screen protector, I’d say go for it!
