Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a privacy screen protector for my iPhone 13 Pro for a while now. You know, just to keep those prying eyes away when I’m checking emails or, let’s be honest, scrolling through social media on the train.
So, I finally decided to do it. I went online and, man, there are so many options! It’s kinda overwhelming. I looked at a few different brands, read some reviews, and finally settled on one that seemed pretty decent and wasn’t too expensive.
When it arrived, I was pretty eager to put it on. I mean, who likes people looking at their screen? Nobody! I cleaned my iPhone screen really well – gotta get rid of all those fingerprints and dust specks. That’s super important, otherwise you get those annoying bubbles.
The Installation Process
The package came with this little alignment frame thingy. I carefully put the phone in the frame. Then came the tricky part: peeling off the backing from the protector and lining it up perfectly.I tried to go slow to avoid the bubles.
I slowly lowered it onto the screen, using the frame as a *… success! Almost. I noticed a couple of tiny bubbles, but I used the included squeegee thing to push them out to the edges. Took a few tries, but I managed to get rid of most of them. There’s maybe one or two super tiny ones left, but you can barely see them.
- Cleaned the iPhone screen thoroughly.
- Used Frame from the package.
- Carefully peeled and aligned the protector.
- Lowered it onto the screen.
- Used a squeegee to remove bubbles.
Does it Work?
The real test, though, was seeing if it actually worked. I tilted my phone to the side, and bam! The screen went dark. Like, you seriously can’t see anything unless you’re looking at it straight on. Pretty cool, huh? It definitely gives me a little more peace of mind when I’m using my phone in public. I feel like I can finally check my bank account balance without the whole bus knowing how broke I am. Mission accomplished!
