Okay, so I’ve been wanting to share my Paramount Plus account with my family for a while now, and I finally figured out a way to do it without everyone constantly messing with my profile. Here’s how I went about it.
Getting Started
First, I logged into my Paramount Plus account. Pretty straightforward, right? Then, I clicked on my profile icon, you know, the little circle thingy in the corner.
Creating Profiles
Once I was in the account settings, I found the “Profiles” section. This is where the magic happens. I started creating profiles for each of my family members. I gave each profile a distinct name – “Dad,” “Mom,” “Kiddo1,” and “Kiddo2.” Makes it easy for everyone to know which one is theirs.
- Clicked “Add Profile”.
- Typed in the profile name.
- Selected a profile avatar (just for fun!).
- Hit “Save Profile”.
Repeat the process. Done!Easy!
Setting Up Parental Controls (Optional)
Now, since I have kids, I also wanted to make sure they weren’t watching anything they shouldn’t. So, for the “Kiddo” profiles, I turned on the “Kids Mode” option. This limits the content they can see to stuff that’s appropriate for their age. You can even set a PIN to prevent them from switching to other profiles.
Sharing the Login
Finally, I shared the main account login information (email and password) with my family. I made it clear that they should ONLY use their own designated profiles. I even emphasized this point a few times, just to be sure. Everyone promised to obey.
It is a success!
And that’s it! Now everyone can enjoy Paramount Plus without messing up my recommendations or watch history. It’s been working pretty smoothly so far.
