Okay, so this morning I finally decided to mess around with that Vision Pro I’ve had sitting around. I’d been putting it off, mostly because I was, like, super intimidated. All this new tech, you know?
Getting Started
First thing, I charged it up. Duh. While that was happening, I poked around the box, found the little instruction booklet, and skimmed through it. Mostly pictures, thankfully. Then I strapped the thing on my head. It felt…weird. Heavier than I expected, but not uncomfortable.
The First “Wow” Moment
Then I powered it on. And…whoa. The passthrough, where you can see your real surroundings, was surprisingly clear. Like, way better than I thought it would be. I walked around my living room, totally geeking out that I could see everything, but with this digital overlay.
- I opened up the Safari browser.
- I was Resized the windows with my fingers and moving them around.
- I placed virtual screens all over my actual room!
Messing Around
I spent the next hour just playing. I watched some trailers on a massive virtual screen that I stuck on my * i lost a tone of time just playing some of games.
The Verdict (So Far)
Honestly? It’s pretty mind-blowing. It’s definitely not perfect. I can see how the battery life could be an issue, and it’s a little clunky to get used to. But the potential? It’s huge. I’m already thinking about all the cool stuff I can try with it tomorrow. Maybe I’ll even attempt to do some actual work…maybe.
