Okay, so, I wanted to share my latest obsession: butterfly checks. I know, I know, checks are kind of old school, but hear me out.
I was browsing the Internet the other day and just came across these adorable checks with all sorts of butterfly designs on them. Some are all colorful and bright, like they’re straight out of a garden, and others have these super realistic paintings of different butterfly species. You’ve got your monarchs, your swallowtails, everything you can think of. It is really cool!
I started digging around, and oh boy, there are a ton of options out there! I found these “Butterfly Blooms” ones that are all flowery and girly, but then there are also some with just straight-up scientific illustrations of butterflies, which is kind of awesome. I even saw some with designs by this artist, Anne Geddes or whatever. Lena Liu, another artist, also has some beautiful ones.
So, here’s the thing: I ended up ordering a bunch. I couldn’t help myself! I got a variety pack because I just couldn’t decide. I figured, why not have a little bit of everything? Some are colorful, some are more like art, and some are just really simple and elegant. The ones with the flowers are super vibrant, and the butterflies look like they’re about to fly right off the check. How lovely!
I also found out you can get matching address labels, which, come on, is just too cute. I didn’t get those this time, but I’m definitely thinking about it for next time.

I’ve used a few already, and I swear it makes writing checks a little less painful. Now I actually kind of enjoy it. It’s the little things, right?
