Okay, so I recently got the new iPhone 15, and I’m like, super paranoid about scratching that gorgeous camera lens. I mean, those things stick out like a sore thumb, right? So, I went on a mission to find a good camera protector.
First, I looked around online, you know, the usual places. There are tons of options out there, it’s kinda overwhelming! Different materials, different brands, different prices… ugh.
I decided to go with a tempered glass one. I figured, if it’s good enough for my screen, it’s good enough for my camera lens. Plus, I wanted something that wouldn’t mess with the picture quality.
Installation Time!
- I cleaned the camera lenses really, really well. Like, obsessive-compulsive level cleaning. Any speck of dust would be trapped under the protector forever, and that would drive me nuts.
- Then, I peeled off the backing of the protector, being super careful not to touch the sticky side. My hands were shaking a little, I’m not gonna lie.
- I lined it up as perfectly as I could. This is the tricky part, because those lenses are tiny, and my fingers are kinda clumsy.
- Once I was happy with the alignment, I pressed down firmly, starting from the center and working my way out to the edges.
- I used the little squeegee thingy that came with the protector to smooth out any air bubbles.
And… done! It looks pretty good, almost invisible. Took a few test shots, and everything seems sharp and clear. I feel so much better knowing my precious camera lenses are protected. Now I can stop worrying about accidentally scratching them with my keys or whatever.
It is a so easy thing, but it did make me feel relieved.
