Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, mimicking the style and tone of your example, about whether an iPhone 15 Pro case will fit an iPhone 14 Pro:
So, I recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro, ’cause, you know, gotta have the latest tech, right? But I had this really nice case for my old iPhone 14 Pro, a leather one that I’d broken in just perfectly. I was seriously hoping I could just slap it on the new phone and save a few bucks.
I did a quick search, saw some stuff, about the new phone being a tiny bit smaller and that new Action button. I was like hmmm, maybe?
My Little Experiment
First, I grabbed both phones. Just holding them side-by-side, it was hard to tell a huge difference, I’m not gonna lie. The 15 Pro felt a little different, maybe a tad thicker, but it wasn’t super obvious.
Then I tried to put the old 14 Pro case on the 15 Pro. And… nope. No dice. It was close, like really close, but it just wouldn’t quite snap in place.
I pushed a little harder. (Don’t do this, by the way. I was being dumb.) Still no. It felt like the corners weren’t lining up quite right, and that Action button? Yeah, that was definitely getting in the way. The case kept popping off on that side.

Then there is the action button, for 14 pro, it is a silent switch.
I examined the case and the phone more closely. I noticed the cutouts for the buttons were just a hair off. And of course, the 14 Pro case had a cutout for the mute switch, not that fancy new Action button.
So, I gave up. I mean, I could have maybe forced it, but I didn’t want to risk scratching my brand-new phone or ruining my perfectly good (old) case. It’s a bummer, but hey, that’s how it goes with these tech upgrades sometimes. Now I gotta go order a new one online.
Lesson learned: Even if it looks like it might fit, don’t force it. Just get a case designed for your specific phone model.
