Okay, so I’ve been wanting a good way to mount my iPad Pro in the car for ages. You know, for those long road trips, or even just for navigating around town. I finally decided to just do it, and here’s how it all went down.
Finding the Right Mount
First things first, I needed to find a mount. I spent, like, an hour just scrolling through options online. So many choices! I knew I wanted something sturdy, because, well, it’s an iPad Pro, and those things aren’t cheap. I also wanted something that could adjust easily, so I could get the perfect viewing angle.
Finally, I settled on one. It had those suction-cup style so very easy to mount.
The Installation Process
When the mount arrived, I was pretty eager to get it set up. I grabbed my iPad, headed out to the car, and… immediately hit a snag. Cleaning my car windows, make sure it is very dry, it can be strongly stick on the window.
I wrestled with it for a good while, the suction cup finally gave. That wasn’t so bad, I guess.
Testing and Adjusting
With the mount secured, I popped my iPad in. It fit perfectly! I started the car and took it for a little spin around the block, just to see how stable it was. I also played around with the adjustments, tilting it up and down, left and right, until I found the perfect position. It was pretty solid, even when I hit a few bumps. Success!
The Final Result
Honestly, I’m super happy with how this turned out. Now I can easily follow my GPS without fumbling with my phone, and my passengers can watch movies on long drives.
It took a little trial and error, but hey, that’s how these DIY projects usually go, right?
