Okay, so today I decided to mess around with the new ChatGPT 4o. I’ve heard a lot about it, so I figured, why not give it a shot? Here’s how it went.
Getting Started
First, I needed to access it. I just pulled it open, No fuss, no muss.
First Impressions
The interface looked pretty clean, I guess. Nothing too fancy, but easy enough to figure out where to type in my questions and stuff.
Testing it Out
I started with some basic questions, like “What’s the weather like today?” and “How do I make a basic pasta dish?” It spat out answers pretty quickly. The responses were okay, pretty much what you’d expect. No big surprises, good or bad.
- Speed: Pretty fast. I didn’t have to wait around forever to get a response.
- Accuracy: Seemed alright. I didn’t notice anything wildly wrong, but I also wasn’t asking super complicated stuff.
Trying Something a Bit Harder
Next, I figured I’d throw it a curveball. I asked it to write a short, silly poem about a cat wearing a hat. Here’s roughly how it went
It did it! It wrote a poem. Was it Shakespeare? No. Was it kinda funny? Yeah, I guess so. It definitely understood what I was asking, which was cool.
Pushing the Limits
I ask some question that my friend told me, it’s a question that need comprehensive konwledge. I paste the question to it, and you know what? the result is pretty impressive, it almost give me the key points for all correct answer, it impressed me!
Overall Thoughts
So, after playing around with ChatGPT 4o for a bit, here’s the deal: it’s pretty neat. It’s not going to blow your mind with its deep philosophical insights, but it’s a handy tool for basic stuff, and it can even handle some more creative requests. It’s like a helpful little robot buddy that’s always ready to answer your questions, even if they’re about cats in hats. I think it’s great.
