Okay, here’s my experience figuring out the whole ChatGPT Plus Personal vs. Business thing:
So, I’ve been using ChatGPT for a while now, just the free version, you know, for basic stuff. But I kept hearing about all the cool things you could do with Plus, like way faster responses and access to GPT-4. I finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade.
First, I went straight for the Personal plan. I mean, it’s just me, right? I figured that was the obvious choice. I signed up, paid my $20, and started playing around. It was definitely faster, and GPT-4 was noticeably smarter. I was pretty happy with it.
Then i saw this option to upgrade to Team plan. I am curious about what’s the difference. I thought that was pretty cool. And the Team plan cost $25 per month. If i pay annually. I feel like it might be a better deal.
The biggest thing I noticed with the Team plan, besides the slightly higher cost, was that it wanted me to invite at least one more person. It’s really meant for, well, teams. It has these workspace features and admin controls, which I didn’t really need.
The Process
Here’s the method that I chose the team plan:
- Used ChatGPT free version for a while to get a feel for it.
- Read up on the differences between plans. Lots of blogs out there.
- Upgraded to ChatGPT Plus Personal. Just clicked the upgrade button in my account.
- Tryed to use my friend’s account to upgrade to Team plan.
- Realized I should have used team plan because of the higher usage cap and message limit.
- Finished my chose.
So, yeah, that’s my journey through the ChatGPT Plus options. Hope this helps someone else who’s trying to decide!
