Trying Out the Bally Sports Free Trial
Alright, let me tell you about getting this Bally Sports 7-day free trial thing going. My local team was playing, you know, the big game, and regular channels weren’t showing it. Frustrating. I heard Bally Sports might have it, so I figured I’d check out their streaming thing.
First step, I just grabbed my tablet and searched for Bally Sports. Found their main page pretty easily. They had this banner, right there, shouting about a 7-day free trial. Okay, looked promising. Clicked on that.
Next, it asked me to sign up. Standard stuff. Had to put in my email address, create a password. Did that. Then it took me to the part where you choose a plan. There was only really one option for the streaming service that included the trial. So, selected that one.
Then came the bit I always kind of expect but still find annoying: payment info. Yep, even for the free trial, they needed my credit card details. They say it’s so it just keeps going after the 7 days if you don’t cancel. Sure. We all know it’s hoping you forget. Anyway, had to punch in my card number, expiry date, security code. Double-checked I put it in right.
After submitting the payment stuff, it confirmed I was starting the 7-day free trial. Got an email almost instantly welcoming me and confirming the trial started. Felt pretty straightforward, no real hiccups in the process itself.
Jumped into the app right away. Logged in with the account I just made. Took me a minute or two poking around to figure out where the live game stream was. The layout wasn’t immediately obvious, but I found it under the live section. Got the game playing. Quality seemed okay, buffered once or twice at the start but then settled down.
So, yeah, got the trial running, watched the game. The main thing now, and this is super important, is remembering to cancel it before the 7 days are up. I immediately put a reminder in my phone calendar for day 6. Don’t want that surprise charge hitting my card. Gotta stay on top of these trial deals.
