Considering the RAVPower Ace Series Battery Pack? Read This Before You Buy It!

Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this RAVPower Ace Series battery pack for a while now, and I figured I’d share my experience, ’cause why not? I needed a new portable charger, something with a lot of juice to keep my gadgets alive on the go. My old one was pretty much done.

I started by looking around, checking out some different brands. Anker was there, of course, but RAVPower caught my eye. Seemed like I could get a good deal, you know, more bang for my buck. The prices were a bit better for what you get, plus they toss in an extra 18 months of warranty if you register the thing, which is cool.

The Experiment Begins

So I grabbed the RAVPower Ace Series 22000mAh battery pack. I decided to do my own testing to see what this thing was all about. When I got it, first thing I did was plug it in to charge. I used the charging cable that came with it and hooked it up to a USB port on my computer, making sure it was one that was actually active. You could also use a wall charger, as long as it’s got an output of 2.1A or higher.

The charging started up on its own, which is what it’s supposed to do. I kept an eye on the battery level indicator, those little LED lights. Once it was fully juiced up, all four LEDs stayed lit for about 10 seconds, and then they all turned off. That’s how I knew it was done.

Using It Out and About

Next, I started using it to charge my phone and my tablet. It worked great! I was actually surprised at how quickly it charged them up. I guess that’s the iSmart 2.0 charging tech they talk about. This thing is supposed to have the biggest overall output of any portable charger, and it definitely felt like it.

I also checked how long the battery pack itself lasted. With regular use, charging my phone a few times and my tablet once, it went for a surprisingly long time before I needed to plug it back in. I was impressed, honestly. I didn’t measure exactly how long, but it was definitely several days.

Troubleshooting?

Now, I did read online that some people have issues with these things not charging properly. It could be a bad cable, a loose connection, or maybe something wrong with the power bank’s insides. I didn’t run into any of that, thankfully. If you do, maybe try a different cable or a different USB port.

Wrapping It Up

All in all, I’m pretty happy with this RAVPower battery pack. It does what it’s supposed to do, it does it well, and it didn’t break the bank. It’s become a regular part of my everyday carry, and I’m not worried about running out of battery anymore. If you’re looking for a solid power bank, I’d say give this one a shot. But like I mentioned, it’s always good to read reviews and compare specs to make sure you’re getting what you need.

  • Pros:
  • Cheap for the quality.
  • Charges pretty fast!
  • Long-lasting battery.
  • Extra warranty if you register.
  • Cons:
  • Might have some charging issues, but I haven’t experienced any.

Hope this helps someone out there!
